        This best practices distance education manual was created for TEC 565 - Distance Learning course by five authors: Jennessa, Michelle, Sara, Toddie and Vidonni.

 

        This manual organizes and evaluates distance education by using best practices in teaching. The best practices manual includes,

but is not limited to: content, technology, assessment, communication, instructional design and delivery, as well as diversity, culture, courtesy, copyright and plagiarism, flexibility, and rigor. Collaborating together the team researches content and various facets of distance education while developing the best practices manual in regards to distance education. 

 

        As educators, we feel it is important to know about the best practices involved when it comes to distant education. We also

find it important to keep up with the advancing technology that it offered to us. This best practices manual will provide useful information and help educators as ourselves to create opportunities for our students in this competitive technological world we

live in.
